Soft lures will go bad and melt if stored in a hard plastic tackle box. If they are stored outside, they will dry out and get hard. Storing your soft lures in their original bags and saving them in a compact transparent box is the best solution for these problems.
Respectively, the "most important percentage" of the Plastic's Strength is after 4-5 days of Cure, but at that point the Plastic still has Major Changes ahead. After about 2.5 weeks it will Firm-up.
